Sarah Anne Carter is a writer and reader. She grew up all over the world as a military brat and is now putting down roots with her family in Ohio. Family life keeps her busy, but any spare moment is spent reading, writing or thinking about plots for novels.

In Five Years is a book about how people change and that some things in life can’t be forced. I enjoyed the story and really wondered if they dream would come true – and if it did, how it would with Dannie fighting against it. I like the message it brings across – hope and finding one’s true self.

Three Sisters — Three Sisters is based on the story of three real sisters who did survive the Holocaust. There are interviews with them or their children at the end of the book. I was left again in awe of what people can survive. Evil must always be stopped to prevent anything like this from ever happening again!

A Piece of the World — A Piece of the World is a wonderful historical fiction book based on the real life of Christina Olson. The farm never had electricity, so there are many survival lessons thrown in for living without power, too. Overall, the books shows the importance of loving those who are in our lives and reaching out to them, even when they push us away.
