The Guest List
I enjoyed reading The Guest List. It was a good reminder that secrets tend to find a way out in the end. It’s always better to just be honest.

In Five Years
In Five Years is a book about how people change and that some things in life can’t be forced. I enjoyed the story and really wondered if they dream would come true – and if it did, how it would with Dannie fighting against it. I like the message it brings across – hope and finding one’s true self.

Fish Out of Water
Every fan of Metaxas should read A Fish Out of Water to get to know him better. He alludes to a possibly sequel full of “miraculous” events and I would really like to read it.

Three Sisters
Three Sisters is based on the story of three real sisters who did survive the Holocaust. There are interviews with them or their children at the end of the book. I was left again in awe of what people can survive. Evil must always be stopped to prevent anything like this from ever happening again!

A Piece of the World
A Piece of the World is a wonderful historical fiction book based on the real life of Christina Olson. The farm never had electricity, so there are many survival lessons thrown in for living without power, too. Overall, the books shows the importance of loving those who are in our lives and reaching out to them, even when they push us away.

Printed Letter Bookshop
The Printed Letter Bookshop is full of how family, friends and even new acquaintances all weave into our own world and create a web that sometimes supports and sometimes hides us. Madeline changes for the better throughout the book, but has to learn some hard lessons to do that.
