Start With Why
While Start With Why is heavily business focused, it can really apply to any aspect of life – school, family, faith, hobbies, work can all benefit from having a known why about why they are done.

Beverly, Right Here 1
While this series is not my favorite of DiCamillo’s, I do appreciate the messages she is conveying about hope and love that some children need to hear. Beverly, Right Here is probably better for older elementary or middle school readers to deal with the running away and Beverly’s mom’s alcoholism.

Digital Minimalism
Digital minimalism does not mean having a goal of hardly ever using technology; instead, it means using technology for specific purposes and deciding when and why you use it.

Cilka's Journey 2
I read The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris last year and when I saw that she was releasing a new book on NetGalley, I chose to read it. Cilka’s Journey is the first historical fiction book I’ve read that is set in the Russian Gulags. Morris’ writing style captivates the reader right away in both books.

Night 2
Night is a powerful memoir of a boy who faced the horrors of a concentration camp when he wanted to be studying Jewish Scripture.

Columbus Must Die
Columbus Must Die is a very interesting historical fiction read. Books set in early American history take a lot of researching to get facts straight, which makes it harder to find.
